POSITION OVERVIEW

HGF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Salesforce and Tableau to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our database systems, particularly focused on Salesforce and Tableau data integration. This role is crucial in ensuring data accuracy, availability, and security, and will involve collaboration with various teams to support our data driven decision making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, and maintain databases, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce and Tableau integration.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
  • Implement data models that align with the organization's needs and best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Conduct regular system performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Manage and enhance data integration between Salesforce and Tableau, ensuring seamless data flow for reporting and analytics.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Salesforce and Tableau administrators, developers, and business analysts, to understand and meet their data needs.
  • Investigate and resolve database related issues and errors promptly.
  • Provide training and support to end users on database related tools, ensuring efficient use of the systems.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Salesforce and Tableau.
  • Salesforce and Tableau certifications are a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and database manipulation.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, design, and architecture.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and technologies.
  • Experience with database security and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions.
  • Scripting and automation skills.
  • Project management experience in database related projects.
