What We Do

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation connects people to Jewish values, faith, traditions, and culture, and invests in vibrant Jewish communities.

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) envisions a future where everyone can meaningfully connect to Jewish life, culture, and community. The HGF invests alongside our partners and donors to help create and sustain transformational Jewish experiences for the generations to come through three flagship programs: PJ Library, JCamp 180, and Life & Legacy. Through these and other initiatives, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation meaningfully supports the pillars of a strong Jewish future.

Keren Grinspoon Israel

Keren Grinspoon Israel is a foundation in Israel that supports early childhood literacy in both Hebrew and Arabic through two main programs: Sifriyat Pijama (Hebrew: Pajama Library) and Maktabat Al-Fanoos (Arabic: Lantern Library). Both programs aim to instill a love of reading and increase the number of books in children’s homes. Sifriyat Pijama is modeled after PJ Library and shares stories with Jewish themes and values.
