Diane Troderman

Diane Troderman is a philanthropist as well as an “amcha,” or “one within the Jewish people.” Alongside her husband, Harold Grinspoon, she helped found the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and served on the PJ Library Book Selection Committee. Her work has focused on the importance of Jewish education from cradle to grave, women’s leadership, and building community in both the organized and developing Jewish world. She credits her Jewish experiences and culture with her thirst for knowledge and looks for opportunities to give back to the local Jewish community, previously serving as a chair for Hillel at UMass and the Jewish Federation of Western Mass.

Diane seeks out opportunities to expand her worldview, and is heavily involved with organizations across Massachusetts that enable her to engage across cultures. She holds board positions at Harvard Divinity school, Hebrew College, Hadassah Brandeis Institute, and advisory boards positions with New England Public Radio and Boston Symphony Orchestra. She is a music lover, dream fulfiller, and problem solver who loves working with her grantees, her children, and her grandchildren to make the most of their creative pursuits and life journeys.
