PJ Library distributes 650,000 books in seven languages every month. Families from across the diversity of Jewish life love PJ Library not only for its free monthly storybooks, but also for family-focused holiday guides, storytelling podcasts, a vast collection of online Jewish parenting resources, and other free gifts. PJ Library also creates initiatives to support burgeoning authors and illustrators, and boasts a publishing imprint, middle-grade book program, and vibrant partner-led engagement programs across PJ Library communities worldwide.
But it costs a lot to be this free. 37% of the budget for PJ Library must be covered annually by foundations, donations, and other philanthropic support outside of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Families around the world rely on generous donors to make these important Jewish stories free and accessible for children worldwide.
