JCamp 180, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, debuted its new logo last week via email to 100 overnight and nearly 40 day camps. The modern lockup, which features a compass within the “180,” reflects the aligned, organized work that JCamp 180 is able to undertake with camps of all strengths and sizes.
“While we may have an updated look, our work isn’t changing,” shared Sarah Eisinger, Director, JCamp 180. “Our tagline, Forward Together, reflects our enduring partnership with you today, tomorrow, and forever.”
JCamp 180 believes that when Jewish camps are equipped with knowledge, skills, and resources to achieve long-term organizational excellence, they will better be able to operate thriving camps that create life-long Jewish connections. JCamp 180’s grantmaking investments, consulting, professional development programs, analytic work, and yearly conference help contribute to the success of the Jewish camping field.
Camp executive directors, lay leaders, and board members work with JCamp 180 across several year-long and short-term opportunities to bolster their camp’s organizational leadership, build endowments, and secure long-term sustainability.
JCamp 180’s 2026/2027 professional development program applications, which span enrollment sprints for both day and overnight camps, strategic planning, board leadership, and major gifts are live now for first-time or return attendees. Applications close as soon as August 31 so that camps can maximize the off-season for learning and capacity building.
And since the busy summer season is also the best opportunity to show camp donors the impact of their gift, JCamp 180 is reminding camps to review their guide to steward donors (download) in a way that is meaningful and unique to each individual camp.
“Donor stewardship is vitally important,” notes Eisinger. “Donors who contribute to your permanent endowment are investing in the future of camp, and their commitment to camp’s future will continue to grow when you deepen your relationship. Inviting donors to visit camp during the summer and sharing stories of the impact of donors’ gifts are powerful ways to strengthen donors’ connection to camp.”
With its professional development programs, stewardship resources, and opportunities for strategic consulting, JCamp 180 continues to fulfill its mission: helping camps navigate towards organizational success, today and well into the future.
