HGF offers grants to individuals to make various Jewish experiences financially accessible. The Campership and Tuition Incentive Programs for Day School Education are signature initiatives of the foundation. These programs are available locally and continue to be replicated nationally. Grants are also available to eligible individuals organizing innovative community-based projects.

HGF provides support for families and teens, arts and culture events, and projects that connect people to Jewish life in Western Massachusetts (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties) and Southern Vermont (Bennington and Windham counties).

The HGF offers grant funding for Jewish educators to attend conferences and workshops, as well as to travel to Israel. These grants are offered through HGF and the Resource Center for Jewish Education. On-site professional development funding for Jewish institutions is also available.
