The Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy (GIJP)

The GIJP was founded in 2004 with a mission to stimulate Jewish philanthropy by providing mentoring services to nonprofit Jewish overnight summer camps and a limited number of other Jewish nonprofits. The Institute now works with more than 75 camps.

A staff of professional mentors delivers the following services:

  • Consultation to camp lay people and professional leaders
  • Matching challenge grants
  • Technology support for alumni and donor outreach
  • Conferences to promote networking and learning
  • Training for Create a Jewish Legacy for Camps

When we reflect on how much we have accomplished over the past year and how much we hope to accomplish in the future, we realize that it is a direct result of our association with the Grinspoon Institute for Jewish Philanthropy..."
