B'nai Tzedek in Western Massachusetts
Teens in Western Massachusetts can join B’nai Tzedek and take part in activities that focus on philanthropy, tzedakah, community service, and tikkun olam.
Annual Retreat
Attend a two-day retreat to learn about tzedakah, nonprofits, and how foundations make grants. Have fun meeting other Jewish teens who share your interests. Participants will have an opportunity to collectively give tzedakah at this event. In 2009-2010, the retreat will be held at the National Yiddish Book Center.
Community Service Projects
Join other B’nai Tzedek teens in local community service projects. Learn firsthand about Jewish nonprofit organizations and how you can make a difference. In 2009-2010 school year, B’nai Tzedek will be doing community service with Hillel House at University of Massachusetts and Rachel’s Table.
