In addition to their philanthropic activities, the couple travels and hikes extensively throughout the world.

Harold and Diane have also taken an active part in promoting education in the inner-city of Springfield, as well as fostering entrepreneurship among young people and encouraging energy conservation. These activities are carried out through a different foundation, the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation, which has a separate website, www.hgcf.org.
