PJ Library is seeking a dynamic, sharp, self-directed educator with knowledge of early childhood and Jewish education to provide professional development and create curricular resources as part of the PJ Goes to School initiative.
PJ Goes to School supports Jewish early childhood centers in their efforts to deepen family engagement with the Jewish community, advance the home/school partnership, and enrich the Judaic and literature-based content in the school environment.
The candidate will work closely with Jewish educators and communal organizations, providing professional development and individual consultation.
The position requires strong attention to detail, flexibility, excellent computer skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate clearly both in speaking and writing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred) in Early childhood, Primary, or Jewish Education
- Demonstrated Classroom and/or School Leadership Experience at the Early Childhood or Primary Level
- Experience in Teacher Training/Professional Development

- Ability to Work within a Team and Independently
A valid driver's license is needed. Because the position may involve book shipments, the ability to lift and move items weighing twenty pounds or more is also required.
This is a full-time position. Frequent travel required. Salary commensurate with experience. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
