In honor of individuals whose on-going professional efforts have had a significant impact on Jewish life in Western Massachusetts, the Outstanding Professional Leadership award recipient will be selected from among nominees who are:
- A professional leader at a Jewish education institute AND
- A professional leader at a Jewish community organization.
Who Is Eligible?
Any individual who:
- Is currently employed by (and has worked for a minimum of two years at) a Western Massachusetts Jewish community organization or educational institution located in Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin and/or Berkshire County (excluding the Harold Grinspoon Foundation) AND
- Has not been honored publicly in a Jewish community forum.
What Are the Benefits?
Each winner recieves:
- A $500 tzedakah award to be donated to a Jewish organization of the winner's choice.
- A $500 cash award.
- Public recognition at a Jewish community event, as well as in the Jewish Ledger and via other local Jewish organizations.
