Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards
The entrepreneurship Initiative recognizes students with monetary awards who demonstrate what Harold Grinspoon refers to as "the entrepreneurial spirit." An Advisory Committee looks for students who have acted upon their desire to own their own businesses.
Spirit Awards acknowledge a student's actions to date and encourages them to move forward in pursuit of their entrepreneurial dreams. To be considered for an award, a student must first be nominated by his/her faculty advisor. The HGCF EI Advisory Committee makes the final decision regarding award recipients.
Award winners and nominees are required to participate in the Entrepreneur Exhibit during the cocktail hour at the Spring Banquet as well as the annual Fall Conference. This is a great opportunity to market ideas and meet fellow Grinspoon Spirit Award winners.
Each award winner and nominee along with one guest receives free admission to the banquet. The HGCF subsidizes additional tickets for a student and non-students rate. To reserve space for guests, contact the nominating faculty advisor(s).
